Northern Railway & State Bank of India Collaborate to Enhance Employee Benefits:
Key Highlights of the SBI Railway Salary Package:
•Enhanced Insurance Coverage: Employees can avail of complimentary benefits such as Personal Accidental Insurance (Death) cover up to 100 Lakhs and Group Term Life Insurance Cover (GTL) up to 10 Lakhs.
•Super Top-Up Health Insurance Policy: Attractive rates are available for comprehensive health insurance coverage.
•Exclusive Banking Benefits: Employees can enjoy benefits like attractive loan rates, ATM cum Debit Card – RSP RuPay, Family Saving Account – “SBI Rishtey,” and locker rent concessions.
Sh. Ashok Kumar Verma, General Manager, Northern Railway, expressed his appreciation for SBI’s initiative and assured his full support for the offer. He emphasized that such initiatives contribute significantly to the well-being of railway employees and their families.
Sh. Devashish Mishra, General Manager, SBI emphasized the significance of this collaboration, highlighting the shared commitment to employee welfare. He informed that all willing employees holding an existing salary account with SBI can avail of these benefits. For those with incorrectly categorized accounts, an application-cum-undertaking needs to be submitted to the bank.
To ensure widespread awareness, GM/NR announced that Northern Railway will actively assist SBI through various measures:
•Setting up of information camps
•Dissemination of information on the salary package
•Conducting training sessions on personal finance
