The Government has commissioned Green Train Corridors

The Government has commissioned the following three sections as Green train corridors free from human waste discharge from trains: -

Section	Zonal Railway	Route Length (kms)
Rameswaram-Manamadurai	Southern Railway	114
Okha - Kanalus	Western Railway	141
Porbandar -Wansjaliya	Western Railway	34

The government has identified the following route to be included under this scheme : -

Jammu Tawi - Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra	Northern Railway	78
