Lines are blocked on the railway network tonight after a person was hit by a train.
Travel data company INRIX reports service is suspended on Virgin Trains West Coast services between Crewe and Chester due to person hit by a train.
Virgin Trains confirmed all lines were blocked - with disruption expected for the rest of the night.
A spokesman said: "Due to a person being hit by a train between Chester and Crewe all lines are blocked.
"Train services running through these stations may be delayed. Disruption is expected until the end of the day."We are sorry for the delay this will cause to your journey.Trains between Crewe and Chester were also delayed at the weekend due to a fire on an Arriva Wales train.
