Good Work done by saving the life of a lady passenger under "Mission Jeevan Raksha"

o­n 05.10.2023, Const/Dinanath of RPSF and Const/A.K Ram of RPF Post Burdwan were present o­n PF No 5 of BWN station for passenger security duty. In the course of their duty period, while T/No.12024 Dn (Patna- Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express) was passing through ( the train hasn't scheduled stoppage at BWN ) PF no 5 at 12:10 hrs, Const/Dinanath noticed o­ne lady passenger was trying to de-board from running train and thereby slipped. o­n seeing this and in a swift response, C/Dinanath saved the life of the said lady passenger in the nick of time by pulling her out as the lady was about to get crushed between the train and platform. C/A K Ram also assisted in pulling out the lady passenger. o­n being asked the lady passenger disclosed her identity as Sunita Singh, W/o, Late Arvind Singh, R/o,Boudha pani tanki,4th lane kawa jhari Road, P.S. Hirapur, Asansol. She has sustained very minor injury o­n her legs and didn't want medical assistance when offered.
