ट्रेन में चोरी हो जाए तो क्या करें? FIR और शिकायत प्रक्रिया पूरी जानकारी
ट्रेन में चोरी होने पर घबराएं नहीं, सही कदम उठाएं
भारतीय रेल देश की सबसे बड़ी सार्वजनिक परिवहन सेवा है, जहां रोज़ाना लाखों यात्री सफ़र करते हैं। लेकिन कभी-कभी यात्रा के दौरान चोरी जैसी घटनाएं हो जाती हैं, और कई यात्री सही जानकारी न होने की वजह से शिकायत नहीं कर पाते या FIR दर्ज नहीं कराते। जबकि कानूनी तौर पर आप ट्रेन में चोरी होने पर तुरंत शिकायत, FIR और अपनी खोई वस्तु की खोज के लिए पूरी प्रक्रिया शुरू कर सकते हैं। सबसे जरूरी बात यह है कि घबराने के बजाय शांत रहें और शुरुआत के कुछ मिनटों में सही कदम उठाएं।
चोरी होते ही सबसे पहले क्या करें?
अगर आपको लगे कि आपका सामान ट्रेन में चोरी हो गया है, तो सबसे पहले अपने कोच में मौजूद TTE, Coach Attendant या Guard को तुरंत सूचित करें। उनके पास शिकायत दर्ज करने के लिए आधिकारिक Complaint Form होता है जिसे आप भर सकते हैं।
इसके तुरंत बाद RPF (Railway Protection Force) के जवान को जानकारी दें, जो ट्रेन और स्टेशन पर यात्रियों की सुरक्षा के लिए तैनात होते हैं। चोरी की जानकारी देने के बाद आपसे घटना से जुड़ी पूरी जानकारी ली जाएगी।
139 Helpline और Rail Madad से शिकायत कैसे करें?
भारतीय रेलवे ने यात्रियों की सुरक्षा के लिए एकीकृत हेल्पलाइन नंबर 139 जारी किया है। आप इस नंबर पर कॉल या SMS करके चोरी की सूचना दे सकते हैं। SMS करने के लिए फॉर्मेट होता है —
THEFT <PNR> <DETAILS> और इसे भेजना होता है 139 पर।
इसके अलावा आप Rail Madad ऐप या वेबसाइट के माध्यम से भी ऑनलाइन Complaint दर्ज कर सकते हैं। यहाँ आपको Complaint ID मिलती है, जिसे आप बाद में जब चाहें ट्रैक कर सकते हैं।
RPF और GRP में क्या अंतर है और शिकायत कहाँ दर्ज होती है?
RPF (Railway Protection Force) का काम ट्रेन और स्टेशन की सुरक्षा करना तथा चोरी जैसे मामलों में तत्काल सहायता प्रदान करना होता है। लेकिन वास्तविक FIR दर्ज करने का अधिकार केवल GRP (Government Railway Police) के पास होता है।
ट्रेन में जो Complaint Form आप भरते हैं, वह RPF द्वारा GRP तक भेजा जाता है, जहां उसे FIR के रूप में दर्ज किया जाता है। इसके बाद केस की जांच GRP करती है।
FIR लिखने के लिए किन बातों का ध्यान रखें?
जब आप शिकायत या FIR लिखें, तो निम्न जानकारी अवश्य शामिल करें:
– आपका नाम, पता और मोबाइल नंबर
– ट्रेन नंबर, तारीख, कोच और सीट नंबर
– घटना का समय और स्थान (लगभग)
– चोरी हुई वस्तु का विवरण (ब्रांड, मॉडल, IMEI नंबर, पहचान चिन्ह, अनुमानित कीमत)
– क्या आपने 139, Rail Madad या ट्रेन स्टाफ को सूचित किया?
इन जानकारी को सही और विस्तार से लिखने से आपकी FIR मजबूत बनती है और सामान मिलने की संभावना बढ़ जाती है।
मोबाइल या इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स चोरी होने पर क्या करें?
अगर मोबाइल चोरी हो जाए, तो सबसे पहले IMEI नंबर नोट करें और CEIR (ceir.gov.in) पर जाकर फोन को ब्लॉक कर दें।
इसके साथ ही SIM कार्ड को मोबाइल ऑपरेटर से ब्लॉक करवाएं। FIR में IMEI नंबर लिखने से पुलिस फोन को ट्रेस कर सकती है।
RPF की साइबर सेल कई बार ऐसे मोबाइल बरामद कर चुकी है जो समय पर रिपोर्ट किए गए थे।
⚖ FIR के बाद क्या होता है और फॉलो-अप कैसे करें?
FIR दर्ज होने के बाद GRP पुलिस जांच शुरू करती है और CCTV फुटेज, Reservation Records, IMEI tracking और Station डेटा की मदद से अपराधी को ढूंढने की कोशिश करती है।
आपको एक FIR नंबर दिया जाता है, जिसे आप भविष्य में किसी भी Update या मुआवजे के लिए इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं। अगर आपने Rail Madad से Complaint की है, तो उसकी Tracking ID से आप ऑनलाइन अपडेट देखते रह सकते हैं।
ट्रेन में सुरक्षा के लिए उपयोगी टिप्स
– हमेशा अपना मोबाइल, पर्स, दस्तावेज शरीर के पास रखें
– बैग पर ताला लगाएं और रात में सीट से चेन के जरिए बांध लें
– कीमती सामान को कभी खुले में या ऊपरी बर्थ पर न रखें
– यात्रा करने से पहले सामान की फोटो और IMEI नंबर अपने पास या ईमेल में सुरक्षित रखें
– परिवार और बच्चों का सामान हमेशा आपकी नज़र में रहे
ट्रेन में चोरी होना दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण जरूर है, लेकिन इससे निपटने के लिए रेलवे ने पूरी शिकायत और FIR प्रक्रिया उपलब्ध कर रखी है। बस जरूरत है सही समय पर सही कदम उठाने की। TTE या RPF को जानकारी दें, 139 या Rail Madad पर शिकायत करें, और GRP में FIR दर्ज कराएं। FIR दर्ज कराने से आपकी कानूनी सुरक्षा होती है और सामान मिल पाने की संभावना भी रहती है।
✍️ SAMPLE FIR / Complaint Letter
मैं, रमेश कुमार, पुत्र श्री मोहनलाल, निवासी गली नंबर-5, शास्त्री नगर, नई दिल्ली, मोबाइल नंबर 9876543210, दिनांक 18 मार्च 2025 को ट्रेन संख्या 12952 (मुंबई – दिल्ली राजधानी एक्सप्रेस) में यात्रा कर रहा था। मेरा PNR नंबर 2547896321, कोच B3, सीट संख्या 45 Lower Berth थी।
रात लगभग 11:30 बजे जब ट्रेन कोटा जंक्शन के आसपास थी, उस समय मैंने देखा कि मेरे बर्थ के नीचे रखा हुआ मेरा बैग गायब था। उस बैग में मेरे दो कपड़े, एक मोबाइल फोन (Samsung Galaxy A54, IMEI: 356482000012), ₹8500 नकद और आधार कार्ड सहित कुछ जरूरी दस्तावेज थे। मैंने तुरंत Coach Attendant और TTE को इसकी जानकारी दी और फिर RPF जवान से संपर्क किया। उसके बाद मैंने 139 Railway Helpline पर कॉल करके भी घटना की रिपोर्ट की, जिसकी Complaint ID RM45231 है।
मैं आपसे निवेदन करता हूँ कि मेरी शिकायत दर्ज की जाए और चोरी हुई मेरी वस्तुओं को बरामद करने तथा आवश्यक कानूनी कार्रवाई करने की कृपा करें। यदि आवश्यकता हो तो मैं जांच में पूरा सहयोग देने के लिए उपलब्ध हूँ।

FIR दर्ज होने के बाद GRP पुलिस मामले की जांच करेगी — CCTV, reservation chart, टिकट-डेटा, स्टेशन CCTV, होटल रिकॉर्ड, और फोन-कॉल डेटा/IMEI के जरिये ट्रेसिंग की कोशिश हो सकती है। हाल के मामलों में CCTV और डाटा-ट्रेल से बड़ी चोरी के केस सुलझे भी हैं।
FIR नंबर और कॉपी सुरक्षित रखें। अगर रेल मंत्रालय/ zone से संपर्क करना हो, तो FIR नंबर आवश्यक होगा।

मध्य रेल के सतर्क टिकट परीक्षक ने AC लोकल में नकली टिकट पकड़ा
मध्य रेल के सतर्क टिकट परीक्षक ने एसी लोकल में नकली टिकट की पहचान की।
मध्य रेल के टिकट परीक्षक, श्री विशाल नवले ने दिनांक 26.11.2025 को एसी लोकल में एक यात्री को नकली यूटीएस जनरेटेड सीज़न टिकट के साथ यात्रा करते हुए पाया।
मुंबई मंडल के यात्रा टिकट निरीक्षक, श्री विशाल नवले ने 10.02 बजे कल्याण-दादर एसी लोकल में नियमित जाँच के दौरान एक महिला यात्री को देखा, जिसने एसी लोकल में यात्रा के लिए यूटीएस जनरेटेड सीज़न टिकट दिखाया, जिसका यूटीएस क्रमांक X06YDZG055 था और अंबरनाथ से दादर तक की यात्रा की वैधता दिनांक 11.12.2025 को समाप्त हो रही थी। बारीकी से जाँच करने पर उन्हें टिकट संदिग्ध लगा और उन्होंने तुरंत पुष्टिकरण मांगा। सत्यापन के बाद यह स्थापित हो गया कि टिकट नकली था और पहले समाप्त हो चुके टिकट से बनाया गया था। श्रीमती गुड़िया शर्मा के रूप में पहचानी गई यात्री को आवश्यक कार्रवाई के लिए गवर्नमेंट रेलवे पुलिस/कल्याण को सौंप दिया गया। बाद की जाँच में पता चला कि फर्जी सीज़न टिकट उसके पति श्री ओमकार शर्मा ने बनवाया था और उसे इस्तेमाल के लिए दिया था। दोनों व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ भारतीय न्याय संहिता अधिनियम 2023 (बीएनएस) की धारा 318/4, 336/2, 336/3, 340 और 3/5 के तहत फर्जी टिकटिंग गतिविधियों में शामिल होने के आरोप में एफआईआर दर्ज की गई है| श्री विशाल नवले की सतर्कता और तीक्ष्ण सोच ने एक नकली टिकट रैकेट का भंडाफोड़ किया है, जिसकी जाँच चल रही है। कर्तव्य के प्रति उनके समर्पण ने दूसरों के लिए अनुकरणीय उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया है।
मध्य रेल यात्रियों से अपील करता है कि वे अधिकृत विक्रेताओं द्वारा जारी वैध टिकटों के साथ, अथवा रेलवे स्टेशन के बुकिंग काउंटरों से लिए गए या एटीवीएम के माध्यम से लिए गए टिकट के साथ ही यात्रा करें। यात्री अपने मोबाइल फोन पर यूटीएस ऐप भी डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं और मोबाइल यूटीएस ऐप के माध्यम से टिकट बुक कर सकते हैं।
यात्रियों को धोखाधड़ी के माध्यम से नकली टिकट बनाने/प्राप्त करने और उस पर यात्रा करने के प्रति आगाह किया जाता है। यह अपराध भारतीय न्याय संहिता अधिनियम 2023 के तहत जुर्माने और 7 साल तक की कैद या दोनों से दंडनीय है।

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case on 21.02.2025 on a complaint and reference made by Vigilance Department, HQ Office, West Central Railway, Jabalpur (MP) against accused including Goods Train Manager; Tech-II under CWM; Assistant TRD (Khallasi Helper), Electrical Department, all three of West Central Railway Kota (Raj.) and an Impersonator candidate & Unknown others on allegations that accused Assistant TRD (Khallasi Helper) in connivance with other accused including accused dummy candidate & other unknown Railway officials, secured job in Railways by using fraudulent means as well as in lieu of illegal financial gratification of Rs. 15.00 lakh. It was also alleged that accused dummy candidate had appeared in the Railway exam and photographs, fake identities, fingerprints of the dummy candidate were utilized in the entire selection process of the Railway Recruitment Exam.
Searches are being conducted by CBI at the premises of accused in Kota and Sawai Madhopur Districts of Rajasthan.
Investigation is continuing.

CBI arrests two accused including Health Inspector of Itarsi Railway Station, West Central Railway and middleman for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 75,000/- from complainant
CBI arrests two accused including Health Inspector of Itarsi Railway Station, West Central Railway and middleman for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 75,000/- from complainant
A case was registered by CBI on 14.02.2025 against said accused on allegations that accused demanded bribe of Rs. 1,00,000/- from complainant to process/get the bill passed of an amount of Rs. 9,32,296/- and to save the complainant from any Vigilance Scrutiny.
CBI laid a trap and caught accused Health Inspector and accused middleman (Contractor of Pest Control) red handed while demanding and accepting bribe amount of Rs. 75,000 from the complainant. Later, both accused were arrested and produced before the Competent Court. They have been sent to judicial custody.
Searches were conducted by CBI at residential premises of accused.
Investigation is continuing.
CBI arrests 05 Railway Officers for bribery in Railway Departmental Examination
CBI arrests 06 accused including 05 Railway Officers (include two IRPS Officers) and a private person in a case related to bribery in Railway Departmental Examination; Recovers 650 grams gold and Rs 5 lakh cash (approx.) during searches
CBI has unearthed a bribery network involving two IRPS officers and others in the office of DRM, Vadodara, Western Railway on allegations of collection of huge bribe for favouring candidates in Limited Departmental Examination of Western Railway.
Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested 06 accused including Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer (IRPS: 2008) and Divisional Personnel Officer (IRPS: 2018 batch) both of Western Railway, Vadodara; Deputy Chief Commercial Manager, Church Gate, Western Railway, Mumbai; Deputy Station Superintendent; a Nursing Superintendent, Divisional Railway Hospital, Sabarmati (Ahmedabad) and a private person in a case related to allegations of collection of huge bribe for favouring candidates in Limited Railway Departmental Examination of Western Railway. Searches were conducted at residential and official premises of the accused persons at 11 locations including Vadodara, Gujarat which led to recovery a gold bar of 650 grams, Rs. 5 lakh cash (approx.), electronic gadgets and incriminating documents etc.
A case was registered on 18.02.2025 against three public servants of Railways including aforesaid Divisional Personnel Officer, Deputy Chief Commercial Manager and Deputy Station Supdt. Of Railways & private person on the allegations that accused officials in conspiracy with private person and unknown others were collecting money from the candidates appearing in Railway Departmental examination by promising them selection in an upcoming examination. It was also alleged that accused Divisional Personnel Officer of Western Railway, had directed accused Deputy Chief Commercial Manager of Western Railway, to compile a list of at least 10 candidates willing to pay bribe for selection in the said Examination. Allegedly accused Deputy Chief Commercial Manager of Western Railway in turn contacted Deputy Station Supdt of Vadodara; and the Private Person to contact such candidates and collect bribes from them. It was also alleged that Deputy Chief Commercial Manager of Western Railway had contacted a jeweller in Vadodara to purchase around 400 grams of gold in lieu of cash without generating any invoice. It was further alleged that Deputy Chief Commercial Manager of Western Railway went to Anand; met Private Person and collected cash from him.
During investigation, it is also revealed that one Nursing Supdt. in Western Railway was intercepted and 650 grams of gold was found with him which had been obtained by him from the jeweller after payment of around Rs.57 lakh (approx.) and the said gold was to be delivered to accused Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer (IRPS: 2018) of Western Railway, Vadodara.
All arrested accused persons will be produced today before the CBI Special Court No. 7, Bhadra, Ahmedabad.
Investigation is continuing.

CBI ARRESTS A Dy. CMM OF EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY AND TWO OTHERS IN A BRIBERY OF Rs. TWO LAKH; SEARCHES CONDUCTED AT 8 PLACES
The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Dy. CMM (IRSS-2012) of East Central Railway, Hajipur (Bihar); a private person and a peon in a bribery of Rs. Two lakh.
A case was registered against a Dy. CMM, East Central Railway, Hajipur (Bihar) and others including private persons /representative of private companies, a peon etc. on the allegations that the accused were in the habit of collecting illegal gratification from the contractors of East Central Railway (ECR) in exchange for awarding tenders in their favour. It was further alleged that the bribe money was being paid through a chain of connected persons /firms on behalf of a private company based at Tamil Nadu which had been allegedly favoured in tender process.
CBI laid a trap and caught the Dy. Chief Material Manager, ECR, Hajipur Bihar, while accepting undue advantage of Rs. Two lakh through a peon. Searches were conducted on 08 different places of Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharastra, Tamil Nadu & Punjab which led to recovery of various incriminating documents, mobile phones.
The arrested accused were produced before the Competent Court and were sent to Judicial Custody.

रेलवे के साफ्टवेयर में सेंध कर फर्जीवाड़ा
पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय मंडल में रेल कर्मियों के वेतन एरियर पीएफ में हुई गड़बड़ी के बाद भारतीय रेलवे में हलचल मची हुई है। मामले की गंभीरता देखते हुए रेलवे बोर्ड ने देश के हर जोन व मंडल में कर्मियों की वेतन प्रक्रिया की जांच करने का आदेश जारी किया है। साथ ही पीएफ एरियर व वेतन मिलान की भी जांच शुरू हो गई है।
गबन मामले में अभी तक रेलवे की जांच टीम के हाथ कुछ भी नहीं लगा है। विडंबना यह है कि वित्त विभाग को पता ही नहीं चल पा रहा है कि गबन कैसे हुआ। करीब तीन सप्ताह से वरीय मंडल वित्त प्रबंधक आदित्य कुंवर यही पता लगा रहे हैं कि गड़बड़ी कहां से और कैसे हुई। इस बड़े हेरफेर को लेकर रेलवे बोर्ड तक घमासान बचा हुआ है। फिलहाल रेलवे के शीर्ष अधिकारी इस बात से चिंतित हैं कि साफ्टवेयर में सेंघ लगाकर यह घपला कैसे किया।
मामले का राजफाश करने के लिए मंगलवार को हाजीपुर से प्रमुख वित्तीय सलाहकार छवि झा डीआरएम कार्यालय स्थित सुरक्षा विभाग के कार्यालय में जांच करने पहुंचीं। देर शाम तक जांच प्रक्रिया चलती रही। इस दौरान कार्यालय में सभी का प्रवेश वर्जित रहा।

अधिकारी ने कबाड़ में बेच दी लाखों की रेल पटरी
मध्य प्रदेश में एक रेलवे अधिकारी ने अपने कर्मचारी के साथ मिलकर विभाग का 42 टन स्क्रैप बिना टेंडर के बेच दिया. आरोपियों ने रेलवे का स्क्रैप बिना टेंडर के अवैध तरीके से नागपुर की एक फर्म को बेचा था. आरपीएफ ने रेलवे अधिकारी और कर्मचारी को गिरफ्तार किया है. वहीं, स्क्रैप खरीदने वाली फर्म के संचालक सहित तीन लोगों को भी गिरफ्तार किया है.
मध्य प्रदेश के बुरहानपुर में रेलवे के एक अधिकारी ने कर्मचारी के साथ मिलकर रेलवे को लाखों रुपयों का चूना लगा दिया. अधिकारी ने अपने कर्मचारी के साथ मिलकर रेलवे का 42 टन स्क्रैप बिना टेंडर निकाले बेच दिया. बेचे गए स्क्रैप की कीमत करीब 25 लाख रूपये बताई जा रही है. इसकी जांच के लिए मध्य रेलवे मुंबई के आरपीएफ आईजी अजय सदानी बुरहानपुर पहुंचे हैं.
मध्य रेल के भुसावल मंडल के बुरहानपुर रेलवे स्टेशन पर कार्यरत सीनियर सेक्शन इंजीनियर हरेंद्र कुमार और ट्रैकमैन भरत कुमार द्वारा बिना टेंडर के 42 टन रेल पटरी का लोहा बेच दिया. मामले का खुलासा हुआ तो विभाग में हडकंप मच गया. मामले की जांच करने मध्य रेलवे मुंबई के आरपीएफ आईजी अजय सदानी खुद बुरहानपुर पहुंचे. उन्होंने मामले की बारिकी से जांच की.
बिना टेंडर के बेच दिया लोहा
7 अक्टूबर को सीनियर सेक्शन इंजीनियर हरेंद्र कुमार और ट्रैकमैन भरत कुमार ने करीब 42 टन लोहे से बनी रेलवे की पटरी को बिना टेंडर के महाराष्ट्र के नागपुर की एक फर्म को बेच दिया. लोहा पकडा गया तब आरपीएफ क्राईम ब्रांच भुसावल हरकत में आई. उन्होने बुरहानपुर आरपीएफ की मदद से दोनो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया.
फर्म के मालिक को भी किया गिरफ्तार
आरपीएफ ने रेलवे का लोहा बेचने वाले आरोपियों के साथ इसे खरीदने वाली फर्म एआर ट्रेडर्स के मालिक को भी गिरफ्तार किया है. आरपीएफ ने फर्म संचालक अब्दुल रसीद पिता अब्दुल अजीज, शाहनवाज पिता सलीम व राहुल पिता रामनाथ को गिरफ्तार किया है. इनके कब्जे से 42 टन लोहा भी बरामद किया गया है.

7 अक्टूबर को रेलवे का लोहा गलत तरीके से बेचा गया था. करीब 42 टन लोहा वाघोड़ा रावेर के रेल लाइन के पास रखा था. यह स्क्रेप की श्रेणी में था. इसकी कीमत करीब 25 लाख रूपए से अधिक बताई जा रही है. सीनियर सेक्शन इंजीनियर और ट्रैकमैन ने इसे ट्रकों के माध्यम से लोड कराकर नागपुर की एक फर्म एआर ट्रेडर्स को बेच दिया. 10 अक्टूबर को इसकी सूचना भुसावल रेलवे क्राइम ब्रांच को लगी. इस पर क्राइम ब्रांच इंस्पेक्टर एलके सागर के नेतृत्व में जांच शुरू की गई. 11 अक्टूबर को वेरीफाई हुआ कि रेलवे का लोहा गलत तरीके से बेचा गया है. नियमानुसार इसके लिए टेंडर प्रक्रिया अपनाई जाती है. आरपीएफ पुलिस नागपुर से लोहा जब्त कर लाई है.

रेलवे सुरक्षा बल ने अपराधियों पर कड़ी कार्रवाई की
रेलवे सुरक्षा बल ने अपराधियों पर कड़ी कार्रवाई की है, ताकि सुरक्षा उपायों को बेहतर बनाया जा सके और पूरे देश में रेलवे संपत्ति तथा यात्रियों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित की जा सके
- आरपीएफ ने रेलवे की चोरी की गई संपत्ति प्राप्त करने वाले 90 व्यक्तियों को गिरफ्तार किया और 5.7 लाख रुपये मूल्य की चोरी हुई रेलवे संपत्ति बरामद की तथा 80 मुकदमे दर्ज किए।
- आरपीएफ ने 493 मामलों की छानबीन की और 484 आरोपी व्यक्तियों को गिरफ्तार किया, जो यात्रियों के सामान की चोरी, डकैती, महिलाओं के खिलाफ अपराध तथा रेलवे टिकटों की अवैध बिक्री में संलग्न थे।
- आरपीएफ ने चल रहे मुकदमों से संबंधित संपत्तियों के त्वरित और उचित निपटान को प्राथमिकता दी, ताकि न्याय प्रभावी ढंग से और तेजी से सुनिश्चित किया जा सके। एक महीने के अभियान के दौरान, मुकदमे से संबंधित 426 संपत्तियों का निस्तारण किया गया।
रेलवे सुरक्षा बल (आरपीएफ) ने पूरे भारत में एक महीने तक चलने वाले अभियान का जून 2023 में समापन किया, जिसका उद्देश्य सुरक्षा उपायों को बढ़ाना और पूरे देश में रेलवे संपत्ति तथा यात्रियों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना था। यह व्यापक अभियान तीन प्रमुख क्षेत्रों पर केंद्रित था:
पहला अभियान चोरी की रेलवे संपत्ति प्राप्त करने वालों और रेलवे संपत्ति की चोरी/आपराधिक हेराफेरी में शामिल अपराधियों को शरण देने वालों के खिलाफ था। आरपीएफ ने चोरी की रेलवे संपत्ति प्राप्त करने वाले व्यक्तियों और रेलवे संपत्ति की चोरी या आपराधिक हेराफेरी में शामिल अपराधियों को शरण देने वालों पर कड़ी कार्रवाई शुरू की। रणनीतिक संचालन और खुफिया-आधारित कार्रवाइयों के माध्यम से, आरपीएफ का उद्देश्य रेलवे संपत्तियों की अवैध निकासी और उसके बाद की बिक्री के लिए जिम्मेदार नेटवर्क को खत्म करना तथा अपराधियों को न्याय के दायरे में लाना था। पूरे भारत में एक महीने तक चले इस अभियान के दौरान, आरपीएफ ने चोरी की गई रेलवे संपत्ति के 90 प्राप्तकर्ताओं को पकड़ा और 5.7 लाख रुपये की चोरी की गई रेलवे संपत्ति की बरामदगी के साथ 80 मामले दर्ज किए।
दूसरा मुख्य क्षेत्र, डिजिटल फुटप्रिंट/डेटा प्रसंस्करण और सीसीटीवी फुटेज का उपयोग करते हुए रेलवे परिसर में रिपोर्ट किए गए यात्रियों के अपराधों को रोकने और पता लगाने पर केंद्रित था। अत्याधुनिक प्रौद्योगिकी और डेटा विश्लेषण तकनीकों का उपयोग करते हुए, आरपीएफ ने रेलवे परिसर में यात्रियों द्वारा किए गए अपराधों को रोकने और उनका पता लगाने के लिए पीआरएस डेटाबेस से प्राप्त इनपुट के साथ सीडीआर/एसडीआर/टीडीडी डेटाबेस का लाभ उठाया। अपराधियों द्वारा छोड़े गए डिजिटल फुटप्रिंट का उपयोग करके और सीसीटीवी फुटेज का विश्लेषण करके, आरपीएफ का उद्देश्य सभी रेल यात्रियों के लिए एक सुरक्षित वातावरण सुनिश्चित करते हुए अपराधियों की तेजी से पहचान करना और उन्हें पकड़ना था। महीने भर चले इस अभियान के दौरान, आरपीएफ ने 493 मामलों का पता लगाया और 484 आरोपी व्यक्तियों को गिरफ्तार किया जो यात्रियों के सामान की चोरी, डकैती, महिलाओं के खिलाफ अपराध और रेलवे टिकटों की अवैध बिक्री में लिप्त थे।
अखिल भारतीय अभियान के तीसरे प्रमुख क्षेत्र का उद्देश्य मुकदमे की संपत्तियों का निपटान करना था। आरपीएफ ने कानूनी प्रक्रियाओं को सुव्यवस्थित करने तथा जांच की निष्ठा बनाए रखने के लिए मुकदमे की संपत्तियों के कुशल निपटान के महत्व को प्रमुखता दी। एक महीने तक चले इस अभियान के दौरान, आरपीएफ ने चल रहे मुकदमों से संबंधित संपत्तियों के त्वरित और उचित निपटान को प्राथमिकता दी, ताकि न्याय को प्रभावी ढंग से और तेजी से सुनिश्चित किया जा सके। एक महीने के अभियान के दौरान, मुकदमे से संबंधित 426 संपत्तियों का निस्तारण किया गया।

WR COLLECTS ₹ 50.83 CROREAS FINE DURING INTENSIVE TICKET CHECKING DRIVES DURING APRIL TO JUNE 2023
An increase of almost 180% in terms of fine generated from intensive checking in AC local trains
In order to ensure hassle-free, comfortable travel & better services to all bonafide passengers over Western Railway, intensive ticket checking drives are being carried out continuously over Mumbai suburban local services, Mail/Express as well as passenger trains & holiday special trains so as to curb the menace of ticketless/irregular passengers. The highly motivated ticket checking team under the supervision of senior commercial officers of Western Railway organized several ticket checking drives during the months of April to June 2023, thereby recovering an amount to the tune of Rs. 50.83 Crore, which also includes Rs.13.26 Cr from Mumbai Suburban section.
According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the month of June 2023, an amount of Rs.14.08 crore was recovered through detection of 2.16 lakh ticketless/irregular passengers, including unbooked luggage cases. Also, in the month of June, WR realized fines amounting to Rs.3.51 crore through detection of over 66,000 cases over Mumbai Suburban section. To prevent unauthorized entry in AC local trains, frequent surprise ticket checking drives are carried out. As a result of these drives more than 19600 unauthorized passengers have been penalized during the period April to June 2023 and Rs. 65.23 lakhs collected in fines, which is over 179% higher than the same period of last year.
Western Railway appeals to the general public to travel with proper and valid tickets.

सीबीआई ने वाहानगा बाजार, कोरोमंडल एक्सप्रेस की, ओडिशा में हुई ट्रेन दुर्घटना के सम्बंध में मामला दर्ज किया
सीबीआई ने 2 जून, 2000 23 को वाहानगा बाजार(ओडिशा) में हुई ट्रेन दुर्घटना, जिसमें कोरोमंडल एक्सप्रेस, यशवंतपुर- हावड़ा एक्सप्रेस एवं एक मालगाड़ी की भिड़ंत हुई थी, के सम्बंध में रेल मंत्रालय के अनुरोध, ओडिशा सरकार की सहमति एवं इसी क्रम में डी ओ पी टी (भारत सरकार) से प्राप्त आदेश पर मामला दर्ज किया।
सीबीआई ने उक्त दुर्घटना के सन्दर्भ में जीआरपीएस मामला संख्या- 64, दिनाँक 3/6/2000 23 द्वारा बालासोर जीआरपीएस, जिला कटक (ओडिशा) में पूर्व में दर्ज उक्त मामले की जाँच को अपने हाथों में लिया। सीबीआई की टीम बालासोर (ओडिशा) पहुँच गई है।
आगे की जाँच जारी है।
CBI REGISTERS A CASE RELATED TO TRAIN ACCIDENT AT BAHANAGA BAZAR IN ODISHA
The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case on the request of Ministry of Railways, consent of the Odisha Government and further orders from DoPT(Govt. of India) relating to the train accident involving Coromandel Express, Yashwantpur-Howrah Express and a Goods train at Bahanaga Bazar in the State of Odisha on 2nd June, 2023.
CBI has taken over the investigation of the case earlier registered at Balasore GRPS, District Cuttack(Odisha) vide GRPS Case No.64 dated 03.06.2023 regarding the said accident. A CBI team has reached Balasore (Odisha).
Investigation is continuing.

LOST LAPTOP RECOVERED AND RPF RETURNED TO COMMUTER
Metro RPF has done it once again!
RPF personnel remain vigilant at Metro premises and help commuters at the time of any emergency. on 31.05.2023 at about 19:44 hrs a commuter informed Station Master of Kavi Nazrul that he had left behind a bag in the DN Metro at the time of getting down at Kavi Nazrul station. Station Master of Kavi Nazrul immediately alerted Station Master of Kavi Subhash about this. That Metro was entering Kavi Subhash station at that time. Accordingly, on-duty lady RPF Constable Smt. Arti Ghosh checked the rake at Kavi Subhash station and found the bag. She deposited it to the Station Master’s Office after careful checking. After opening the bag, a Laptop with accessories and other items worth Rs. 50, 500/- were found therein.
After the recovery, Station Master of Kavi Subhash immediately informed Station Master of Kavi Nazrul about this recovery and this message was also conveyed to the passenger. The commuter came to Kavi Subhash station and claimed the ownership of the bag. After proper verification and complying with all official formalities, the recovered bag was handed over to him.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Metro Railway Authorities for helping him to recover the lost Laptop. Shri Saurabh Trivedi, IG cum PCSC, Metro Railway has congratulated Smt. Arti Ghosh, Lady Constable for her alertness and prompt action.
Metro commuters have full confidence on Metro authorities to get back their lost or misplaced goods in Metro. Metro authorities take utmost care to return such lost goods or valuables to the owners in good condition.

CBI ARRESTS A SENIOR INSTRUCTOR OF WESTERN RAILWAY FOR ACCEPTING BRIBE OF Rs. 25,000/-
सीबीआई ने पश्चिमी रेलवे के एक वरिष्ठ प्रशिक्षक को 25,000/- रु. की रिश्वत स्वीकार करने पर गिरफ्तार किया
सीबीआई ने एक वरिष्ठ प्रशिक्षक, डीजल शेड साबरमती, पश्चिम रेलवे, अहमदाबाद (गुजरात) को शिकायतकर्ता से 25,000/- रु. की रिश्वत मांगने एवं स्वीकार करने पर गिरफ्तार किया ।
एक शिकायत के आधार पर वरिष्ठ प्रशिक्षक, डीजल शेड, साबरमती, पश्चिम रेलवे, अहमदाबाद के विरुद्ध मामला दर्ज हुआ। यह आरोप है कि आरोपी ने शिकायतकर्ता के पारस्परिक स्थानांतरण आवेदन ( Mutual Transfer Application ) को डीआरएम कार्यालय, पश्चिम रेलवे, अहमदाबाद को अग्रेषित करने के लिए 50,000 रु. रिश्वत की मांग की थी। आगे ऐसा आरोप है कि आरोपी, शिकायतकर्ता से 40,000/- रु. की रिश्वत स्वीकार करने हेतु सहमत हुआ।
सीबीआई ने जाल बिछाया एवं आरोपी को शिकायतकर्ता से 25,000/- रु. की रिश्वत मांगने व स्वीकार करने के दौरान रंगे हाथ पकड़ा।
गिरफ़्तार आरोपी को सक्षम अदालत के समक्ष पेश किया जाएगा।
The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Senior Instructor, Diesel Shed, Sabarmati, Western Railway, Ahmedabad (Gujarat) for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs. 25,000/- from the Complainant.
A case was registered on complaint against a Senior Instructor, Diesel Shed, Sabarmati, Western Railway, Ahmedabad. It was alleged that the accused had demanded bribe of Rs. 50,000/- for getting the Mutual Transfer Application of the Complainant forwarded to the DRM Office, Western Railway, Ahmedabad. It was further alleged that the accused agreed to accept bribe of Rs. 40,000/- from the Complainant.
CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red handed while demanding & accepting bribe of Rs. 25,000/- from the Complainant.
The accused will be produced before the Competent Court.

Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Indian Railways is committed to take continuous preventive measures to protect and safeguard railway passengers, passenger area and railway property. RPF is entrusted with the responsibility of security of railway property, passenger area and passengers. The force has been working round the clock for providing safe, secure and comfortable travel experience to the passengers. It helps Indian Railways in providing safe freight transport service to its customers. RPF has ably discharged the responsibility of protection of huge assets of railways spread far and wide across the country by taking preventive measures as well as measures for detection of crime against railway property.
A brief of the achievements of RPF during the Financial Year 2022 – 2023 is as under –
Rescue of children & Operation Nanhe Faristey:- Ministry of Railways in collaboration with Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on 05/03/2015 for better care and protection of children in distress in contact with Railways. In order to include all the prevalent guidelines/ provisions/instructions/directives etc. in the SOP, a ‘Revised SOP for the Railways’ 2021 has been issued on 23.12.2021. In accordance with SOP, presently CHDs are operational at 143 railway stations. RPF has played important role in reuniting the children lost/separated due to several reasons from their family and rescued more than 17000 Children in need of care & protection who came in contact with Indian Railways during the period i.e. FY 2022 - 2023
In this regard, an intensive drive viz. ‘NanheFaristey’ has been launched on Indian Railways to rescue children in need of care and protection found in trains/railway station and this is showing remarkable results.
Human Trafficking & Operation AAHT– In order to have an effective mechanism to avert endeavours of the Human traffickers, as per Standard Operating Procedure issued in 2022, Anti Human Trafficking Units of RPF are operational at the post level(Thana level) at more than 740 locations over the Indian Railways. These AHTUs are in regular touch with agencies involved in preventing human trafficking and have assisted them in rescue of children being trafficked. During the FY (2022 – 2023), 604 persons were rescued from the clutches of traffickers with arrest of 207 traffickers. RPF has signed an MoU with Association of Voluntary Action (a foundation of Nobel Laureate Sri Kailash Satyarthi) also known as BachpanBachaoAndolan on 06.05.2022 for association in capacity building of RPF & Railway men raid, rescue and sharing of information on Human Trafficking. Further to strengthen the AHTUs being operated by RPF, MHA has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 12.6 Cr.
Emergency Response & Operation ‘Yatri Suraksha’ -
In order to redress security related complaints of passengers in distress and for immediate assistance, passengers can make complaint on Rail Madad Portal or through helpline No. 139 (integrated with Emergency Response Support System No. 112). During the FY (2022- 2023), more than 2.4 lakh complaints were received and appropriate necessary action was taken to resolve them. Also, railways are in regular touch with passengers through various social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Koo etc. to enhance security of passengers & to address their security concerns.
Operation “JeevanRaksha”: - Due to alertness and swift action by RPF, life of 873 male and 543 female passengers were saved by Team RPF in platforms, railway track and trains in the FY 2022 – 2023 under operation JeevanRaksha.
Luggage Retrieval & Operation Amanat– During the FY 2022 - 2023, RPF retrieved left behind luggage having value to the tune of more than Rs 50 Crores belonging to 32,337 passengers and returned them after due verification. RPF has been doing this service for passengers under “Operation Amanat”.
Women Security & Operation “Matrishakti” – Safety and security of women passengers has been an important concern of Indian Railways. In this regard, an initiative “Meri Saheli” has been launched from 17.10.2020 to provide security to lady passengers in long distance trains, particularly those travelling alone or those who are vulnerable to crime. Other preventive measures to ensure security of lady passengers like train escorting, CCTV system at 864 stations and about 6646 coaches, lady escorts in ladies special suburban trains, mixed escorts in trains, regular drives against unauthorised passengers in ladies coaches etc are also being implemented.
Further, RPF personnel especially ladies RPF personnel which is currently 9% of the total strength of RPF (highest among uniform forces), go out of the way to help pregnant women who go into labour during their train journey or in Railway premises. During the year FY 2022 – 2023, RPF has assisted 158 women in train and 220 women in railway premises in child birth under ‘Operation Matrishakti’.
Action against touts & Operation “Uplabdh” :-– In this regard during the FY 2022 – 2023, 4280 nos. of the touts have been arrested and action against them was taken as per law.
Regular drives are conducted by RPF teams against touts over Indian Railways. During action against touts, more than 140 illegal softwares were disrupted with arrest of developers, super sellers, sellers & retailers of such illegal softwares.
Operation “Rail Suraksha” – As per mandate to safeguard railway property and to take legal action against crime involving railway property, RPF apprehended 9179 persons involved in such crime with recovery of stolen Railway Property worth Rs. 6.3 Crores during the FY 2022 – 2023.
Operation “NARCOS” :- The Government of India through its notification no.1403 dated 11.04.2019 published in Extraordinary Gazette of India S.O. 1582(E) have empowered the officers of the Railway Protection Force, of the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector and above, to search, seize and arrest under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. During the FY 2022 - 2023, 1022 persons have been arrested along with seizure of NDPS valued Rs. 81 Crores and arrested criminals were handed over to empowered agencies for further legal action.
Operation ‘WILEP’ :- Smuggling of Wildlife and animal parts is crime against nature. RPF has been alive to the issue and has taken stringent action against the smugglers involved in illegal trade of wildlife and recovered several restricted wild life i.e. Birds, Snakes, Tortoise, Peacock, Reptile etc. and their processed products along with Sandal wood & other flora & fauna.
Team RPF has detected 108 cases and 68 accused were arrested during the FY 2022-2023 under operation WILEP.

CBI Arrests Railway Engineer in Rs 1 lakh bribery case; huge wealth seized during searche
The CBI has arrested a principal chief mechanical engineer of Central Railways in Mumbai for allegedly receiving a Rs 1 lakh bribe for clearing bills of a Kolkata-based private company, officials said Tuesday.
A 1985-batch officer of Indian Railway ServiceIndian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME), Ashok Kumar Gupta, posted at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, was arrested after his driver was caught receiving the bribe on his behalf, they said.
Searches followed by his arrest led to the recovery of huge wealth from the officer's premises and foreign bank accounts.
