SECTION — A
Q1 a. A bullet is fired at an angle of 60° from horizontal with a velocity of 500 misec., find maximum height and horizontal range reached by the bullet.
b. Solve : 2X + Y + 5Z = 5

Q2 a) A circular steel tank open from top has an external radius of 7 meters and its height is 10 meters. Calculate the cost of painting the exterior of the tank @ Rs. 5 per square meter.
b) There are two identical blocks A&B of the same material. Temperature of Block A is 40° F and that of Block B is 20°C. Which block is colder ?
c) Two thin wires of equal length are bent suitably to form a circle and a square. Which figure will enclose greater area ?
Q3 A domestic electric bulb has a rating of 230 volts, 100 watts
a) Find power consumed by the bulb if supply voltage drops to 180 v.
Also find resistance of the filament of the bulb.
b) What do the following stand for ?
