रेल दृष्टि एक सिंगल विंडो के तहत विभिन्न स्रोतों से जानकारी एकत्रित करके, पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही के उद्देश्यों को पूरा करने के उद्देश्य से, भारतीय रेल के प्रमुख मापदंडों का डिजिटल प्रस्तुतीकरण, विश्लेषण और निगरानी करने का एक प्रयास है। यह डैशबोर्ड देश के प्रत्येक नागरिक को भारतीय रेल के प्रमुख आँकड़ों को पारदर्शी रूप से जानने में सक्षम बनाने के साथ-साथ अपने ग्राहकों के लिए रेलवे द्वारा विकसित विभिन्न डिजिटल प्लेटफार्मों पर दी जाने वाली सेवाओं का लाभ उठाने के लिए एक मंच प्रदान करता है। कुल मिलाकर, यह "डिजिटल इंडिया, डिजिटल रेलवे" की दिशा में एक नया कदम है।
हमारा मकसद यह है कि हमारे देश के नागरिकों को रेल दृष्टि के माध्यम से भारतीय रेल को करीब से जानने का मौका मिले और रेलों में हो रहे परिवर्तन और प्रगति को भी देख सकें। इस भागीदारी प्रक्रिया को आगे ले जाने तथा रेलवे के भावी परिवर्तन को आकार देने के लिए नागरिकों के विचारों का स्वागत करते हैं।
Rail Drishti is an attempt to bring information from myriad sources under a single window to digitally view, analyze and monitor the key parameters of Indian Railways with an aim to meet the objectives of transparency and accountability. The dashboard enables every citizen of the country to know major statistics of Indian Railways transparently as well as provides a platform to avail the services offered on various digital platforms developed by the Railways for its customers. In all, it is a new leap forward towards “Digital India, Digital Railways”
Our motive is that the citizens of our country get to know the Indian Railways closely via Rail Drishti and can also see the transformation and progress taking place in Railways. To take this participatory process forward, we welcome ideas from the citizens for shaping future transformation of Railways.
