The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Ashwani Lohani, IRSME (1980) (Retd.) to the post of Director, Prime Ministers Museum and Library in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India, on contract basis, for a period of three years w.e.f. the date of assumption of charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, on usual terms and conditions applicable to re-employed Central Government officers, by keeping the Recruitment Rules of the post in abeyance.
