श्री राम करण यादव ने आज दिनांक 01/12/2023 से मध्य रेल के महाप्रबंधक का पदभार संभाला
अपने काम के पहले दिन, उन्होंने उपनगरीय लोकल और मेल एक्सप्रेस के मुंबई मंडल ट्रेन परिचालन के लिए कंट्रोल कार्यालय का दौरा किया। उन्होंने सीएसएमटी में उपनगरीय मोटरमैन और गार्ड लॉबी का भी दौरा किया ।
उन्होंने सभी प्रमुख विभागाध्यक्षों और मुंबई, भुसावल, नागपुर, पुणे, सोलापुर मंडलों के सभी मंडल रेल प्रबंधक के साथ बैठकें कीं।
उन्होंने निम्नलिखित तथ्यों पर जोर दिया-
1) ट्रेन परिचालन सुरक्षा. ट्रैक, सिग्नलिंग, ओएचई ओवरहेड वायर उपकरण का रखरखाव कार्य
2) उन्होंने अधिकारियों द्वारा क्षेत्र संरक्षा निरीक्षण पर जोर दिया।
3) जनता की मांगें एवं यात्री सुविधाएं। सांसद/विधायक आदि जैसे जन प्रतिनिधियों के साथ बातचीत।
4) माल लदान लक्ष्य
5) अनुभागीय गति को 130 किमी प्रति घंटे तक बढ़ाना
6) उन्होंने प्रमुख मार्गों के स्थापना प्रस्तावों की भी समीक्षा की
7) उन्होंने कामकाज में ईमानदारी पर जोर दिया
8) ट्रेन और स्टेशनों पर अपराध नियंत्रण
9) नियमित एवं त्योहार विशेष ट्रेनों का परिचालन एवं भीड़ प्रबंधन
10) कर्मचारी कल्याण एवं पदोन्नति
11) कर्मचारियों के लिए चिकित्सा स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं आदि ।

On his 1st day of working, the General Manager visited Control office of Mumbai division train operation of suburban local and mail express. He also visited suburban motorman & guard lobby at CSMT.
He conducted meetings with all Principal Heads of Departments and all DRMs of Mumbai, Bhusaval, Nagpur, Pune and Solapur divisions.
He emphasised on following factors-
1) Train operation safety. Maintenance works of tracks, signalling, OHE overhead wire equipment
2) He stressed on field safety inspections by officials.
3) Public demands and passenger amenities. Interaction with public representatives such as MP/MLA etc.
4) Freight loading targets
5) Increasing sectional speeds upto 130 kmph
6) He also reviewed installation proposals of major routes
7) He stressed on integrity in working
8) Crime control in train and stations
9) Running of regular and festival special trains and it's crowd management
10) Staff welfare and promotions
11) Medical health facilities for staff.
